Request to Provide CPA Exam/License Information to Another Board of Accountancy

North Carolina CPAs applying for reciprocal licensure in another jurisdiction (state), as well as successful North Carolina CPA Exam candidates applying for initial licensure in another jurisdiction (state), may use this form to request that the Board provide one of the following to the receiving Board of Accountancy:

  • Exam Score Verification: numerical CPA Exam scores only
  • License Verification: NC CPA license information only
  • Exam/License Verification: NC CPA license information and numerical CPA Exam scores (Exam scores can be provided only if those scores are on file with the Board)

Submitting this request does not cancel or inactivate your North Carolina CPA license.

North Carolina CPAs who need proof of licensure for an entity other than a Board of Accountancy should print their individual record using the Search for a CPA function of the Board’s website.
