Request to Provide Exam Scores/License Information to Another Board of Accountancy

A North Carolina CPA applying for reciprocal licensure in another jurisdiction (state) or a successful North Carolina CPA Exam candidate applying for initial licensure in another jurisdiction (state) may use this form to request that the Board provide an Exam Score Verification (numerical Exam scores only), a License Verification (license information only) or an Exam/License Verification (license information and numerical Exam scores, if on file with the Board) to the Board of Accountancy of that jurisdiction. Requesting this information does not cancel or inactivate your North Carolina CPA license. A North Carolina CPA who needs proof of licensure for an entity other than a Board of Accountancy should print their individual record from the Find CPA/CPA Firm database on the Board's website,

The NC State Board of CPA Examiners does not charge a fee for providing Exam scores or NC CPA license verifications to other Boards of Accountancy. Please allow at least 15 business days for the Board to process your request.
